Now that the beta period is over, updates should slow down to not be daily outside of security fixes and the stability of the BBS should be noticeably better than the first month each of alpha and beta testing.
Posted 2026-07-30You can connect to the BBS over the Telnet protocol at smalltimebbs.firehawke.net, port 6400 for 40-column C64 mode and port 6401 for 80-column C128 mode. Be aware that Telnet is inherently insecure as it has no encryption. Hopefully someone will build a SSH bridge for classic computers at some point.
