You can connect to the BBS over the Telnet protocol at smalltimebbs.firehawke.net, port 6400 for 40-column C64 mode and port 6401 for 80-column C128 mode. Be aware that Telnet is inherently insecure as it has no encryption. Hopefully someone will build a SSH bridge for classic computers at some point.
